Alliance Integrated Technology was formed in 2009 to provide integrated, customized, high-end technology solutions from its headquarters in Pasadena, California. With over 40 years of combined sales and technology experience, we have the knowledge and business expertise to help midsize and large organizations design, engineer, and deliver value and efficiency, resulting in cost savings and greater productivity and further extending client’s brand values.

Andy contributes 25 years of “real-life” IT expertise to Alliance Integrated Technology, heading technical teams that have implemented large scale SANs and many PetaBytes of data storage. His expertise in Supercomputing and High Performance Computing (HPC) has been instrumental in delivering cost efficient IT solutions to our customers.
Andy’s expertise is working with venture capitalist and startups. He helped formed Adforce which was eventually sold to CMGI for $750M. He has also worked for commercial companies such as SGI, has made significant contributions as a scientist to JPL/NASA, and was the Chief Technology Officer for Pacific Title and Art Studios, well established and successful 90-year old company. Under Andy’s direction, this media and entertainment company was transferred into the new digital world. Andy has been featured in many publications, including Post Magazine, Search Storage.com, eWeekly.com, Technology Target, and Enterprise Storage Magazine. Mr. Tran holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.

Senior Solutions Architecht
No stranger to this industry, Frand began this journey over 20 years ago, becoming Apple certified as well as mastering Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems. While completing his degree in applied mathematics at UC Davis, he became involved in the University’s tape backups and has continued to work with tape libraries, backup software and the associated infrastructure.
Prior to joining Alliance, Frand served as Senior Systems Engineer for Technicolor where he was responsible for configuring and supporting StorNext SAN, Brocade and Qlogic fibre switches, Extreme Networks metadata switches as well as Linux, and Mac servers. He has also served as Support Services Manager for Integrated Media Technologies where he coordinated engineers and participated in systems support and troubleshooting. In this role, he assisted many entertainment giants with their storage and backup infrastructure. However, he spent most of a decade working at EFILM Digital Laboratories as their Senior Systems Engineer where he designed, installed and maintained the tape and backup infrastructure that included dozens of tape drives, thousands of media cartridges and petabytes of data for hundreds of full feature movies.
