RaveHD Software

RaveHD is a video solution that offers a flexible VTR replacement and is available at no cost (free download). The RaveHD software installs on a variety of hardware configurations and provides some basic high-end tools.  RaveHD is realizing world-wide use, replacing decks in many aspects of the workflow.

RaveHD Specifications

Defining a RaveHD setup depends on a few standard configuration specifications. RaveHD is designed to take advantage of earlier, as well as the latest cutting edge, technology. You can select what you would like to use, however, these components are the primary considerations for a minimal configuration.

RaveHD can be connected to a SAN via fiber or can use internal storage via a controller (we recommend the 3ware 9750, but any will work that have Linux support). AllianceIT provides all the packages and rpms to make installation and setup easy (including OS).
