Leading IT Infrastructure Integrator Elects An MD To Its Board of Directors
Dat Tran, MD is the founder of Premiere Physicians Inc, a leading hospitalist group in the Phoenix area. In addition, he is a founder of Multi Specialty Physicians PC, a Phoenix based primary care group with sub-specialists. Dr. Tran has been Chief of Medicine for the following hospitals: West Valley Regional Medical Center, Havasu Regional Medical Center, and Cancer Treatment Center of America. Dr. Tran remains active on many hospitals including Banner Del Webb hospital, Banner Boswell hospital, Banner Estrella Medical Center, and Cancer Treatment Cancer of America. He is director of utilization department at Kindred Hospital, a long-term acute hospital. In addition, he also Associate Medical Director for Odyssey Hospice, a national organization that provide care to those with terminal illnesses. Consumers Research Council of America has elected Dr. Tran as America’s Top Physicians in 2009 and 2010.
Dr. Dat Tran completed his undergraduate B.S. Biology degree at the University of California, Irvine in 1996, and then received his Internal Medicine training at the Maricopa Medical Center, Phoenix Arizona. He also attended the University of Phoenix for his Masters in Business Administration-Health Care Management. Dr. Tran is Board Certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is also a Member of the American College of Physicians. In addition, Dr. Tran is a Board Director for the Arizona State Physicians Association. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Midwestern University - Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Clinical Professor of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He was Chief Associate - Northern Region of Arizona Associate's Council for the Arizona Chapter of the American College of Physicians (ACP-ASIM). He previously served on the board for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Currently, he served as chairman for Beyond Tomorrow Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving unprivileged kids seeking higher education.
